Our client has proudly served Western Canada for nearly 50 years, specializing in constructing the finest homes for their clients and the community. The estimator will prepare accurate and timely purchase orders and take-offs, ensuring construction begins on schedule while adhering to master budgets and project plans. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious young professional to join one of Western Canadas largest residential builders. Roles and Responsibilities Organize and maintain job files for our housing projects to ensure seamless operations. Prepare comprehensive material take-offs and cost estimates to establish a strong foundation for a successful project. Share pricing for sub-trades according to plans and specifications and manage the tendering process. Prepare cost-to-complete estimates and issue purchase orders to subcontractors and material suppliers. Compile comprehensive job files for the superintendents reference. Oversee the invoicing process and work with the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate payables. Fulfill all sales price requests promptly. Collaborate with sales consultants, the administration team, and the superintendent to ensure accurate information is conveyed to the field. Create and sustain model templates. Develop and maintain options and enhancements for the product library. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications You must have 2 years of estimating experience. Experience with residential builders is required. You must be able to create and maintain housing budgets and costing options. Familiarity with blueprints and ability to read plans Proficiency in the Microsoft suite. Capacity to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. Why Work Here?
