About GreenReach Farms GreenReach Farms is an urban hydroponic farm that grows fresh, nutrient-dense produce year-round using sustainable, indoor agriculture. As one of the only full-production farms operating in a downtown core, we provide local communities with high-quality greens while setting new standards for urban farming. We are looking for an outgoing and motivated individual to assist with on-farm sales and local farmers'''' markets , helping to connect customers with fresh produce and sharing the story of sustainable urban farming. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with people, has a passion for local food, and is comfortable working in a dynamic sales environment. Position Overview This position involves selling fresh produce at local farmers markets and the farm, assisting with farmstand operations, engaging with customers, and promoting GreenReach Farms in person and through social media. Key Responsibilities Farmers'''' Market & On-Farm Sales Set up and manage the GreenReach Farms stand at local farmers markets and on-site farm sales Handle cash, credit, and mobile payment transactions Provide excellent customer service , answering questions about hydroponic farming and produce Restock and maintain a visually appealing display of fresh produce Social Media & Community Engagement Create engaging social media content to promote market days, farmstand offerings Capture photos and short videos for social media (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) Engage with customers online and in person to build brand awareness and loyalty Farm Operations Support Assist with harvesting, washing, and packaging produce before market days Maintain cleanliness and organization of the farmstand and work areas Support other farm tasks as needed to prepare for sales events Qualifications A valid drivers license and access to reliable transportation Currently enrolled in or studying biology, biotechnology, environmental science, agriculture, or a related field (preferred but not required) Outgoing, friendly, and comfortable engaging with customers Strong communication skills and ability to talk about fresh food, farming, and sustainability Ability to handle cash and card transactions accurately Comfortable working in outdoor and indoor settings , including farmers'''' markets Social media savvy with experience creating engaging content (preferred) Ability to lift and transport farm produce and market materials (up to 40 lbs) What We Offer Hands-on experience in sustainable farming and local food sales The chance to be part of a growing movement for sustainable urban agriculture A fun and engaging work environment with direct interaction with customers The opportunity to build skills in sales, marketing, and community engagement
