The full-time position of Sourcing Analyst in located in Calgary, Alberta within Canadian Energy Services, the drilling fluids services division of CES Energy Solutions. The Sourcing Analyst has a diverse, fast-paced role and reports directly to the Sourcing Manager. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Collect and organize data related to procurement activities, supplier performance, pricing, lead times, and other relevant metrics. Prepare data for regular and ad-hoc reports for internal stakeholders. Utilize reports with Excel, Power BI, and other Microsoft Office tools. Prepare preliminary deal summaries and support the Sourcing Team with contract drafting. Assist in evaluating and monitoring supplier KPIs. Establish and monitor the progress of delivery schedules. Maintain effective communication channels with vendors. Source new suppliers. Identify areas of opportunity through industry and supply market analyses. Assist in developing cost models for products and services. Assist with resolving client concerns. Ensure accuracy of all invoice transactions including pricing, signatures, and delivery. Perform additional duties as required. Necessary qualifications: Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management or a related field is an asset. Be able to legally work in Canada. Required skillset: Experience in sourcing or a related field is preferred. Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrate good communication, organizational, administrative and time-management skills. Strategic thinking, quick learning capabilities, and strong time management skills.
