Role Description : We are seeking a skilled and experienced Business Analyst to join our Support Organization. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between business processes, data analytics, and technology to drive value for our customers. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and customers to ensure technology solutions align with business needs and enhance operational efficiency. This position is based in Calgary and requires on-site work, including visiting client sites that we support. Key Responsibilities : Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers to understand business processes, pain points, and data requirements. Analyze data sets to extract insights that inform business decisions and process improvements. Assist with the documentation and enhancement of business processes to ensure clarity and efficiency. Work with technical teams to ensure that data and technology solutions align with business goals and deliver measurable customer benefits. Document business processes, workflows, and system requirements to facilitate the development and implementation of effective solutions. Act as a key liaison between technical teams and business users, ensuring clear communication and alignment. Support the implementation of technology solutions, ensuring they are fit-for-purpose and deliver value. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Support Organization by identifying opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains. Qualifications : Bachelors degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in a business analyst role, preferably within a support or technology-driven environment. Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements. Proficiency in data analysis, including working with large datasets and using tools such as Excel, SQL, or data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI). Ability to identify, analyze, and solve complex business and technical problems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Detail-oriented, with a strong organizational mindset and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications : Experience working with support or customer service organizations. Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, Databricks) and their role in supporting business operations.
