Job Description

ROLE: Finance Coordinator CLIENT: Outsource Finance Department / Fractional CFO Consulting firm WORK ENVIRONMENT: Remote (+ regular client visits) Estimated start date: ASAP Description: We are an outsource finance department/Fractional CFO Consulting firm looking to grow our current team. The successful candidate will be responsible for full-cycle project-based accounting. Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you are responsible in supporting on the day to day activities related to full-cycle accounting. This includes working on accounts receivable, accounts payable and project reconciliations. In addition, you will be an administrator on various finance platforms. We look for teammates that are ambitious, filled with ideas, honest, fun, and excited to be a part of the next phase of the companys growth. Key Responsibilities: Manage bookkeeping and accounting processes that will provide the foundation for financial management Full cycle accounting responsibilities credit card reconciliations Project reconciliation management Manage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions Qualifications: Accounting/Finance designation preferred but not required Complete discretion with sensitive information, both within the company and externally Commitment to accuracy, attention to detail, and follow-through Excellent written and oral communication skills, and confidence in presenting to key stakeholders Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial setting; strong willingness to affect change with an understanding of the unique challenges encountered in small businesses Additional Characteristics: Exceptional relationship and interpersonal skills: courtesy, tact, patience, and strong team orientation Loves working in a creative, non-corporate environment A can-do attitude always willing to roll up your sleeves and do what needs to be done An ability to roll with the punches in an ever-changing environment A positive attitude, enthusiasm, and appreciation for a fast-paced growing company Job Types: Full-time, Permanent COVID-19 considerations: We largely work from home.
