Job Description Day-to-Day Insight Global is looking for an Office Manager to join our client in the construction industry on a 6-month contract-to-hire basis. This role will include a 40-hour work week and require the successful candidate to work on-site downtown Toronto 5-days/week. The successful candidate should have experience managing and overseeing all daily operations of an office environment which includes managing the office space, ordering of supplies, managing building access and parking spots, lease management and administrative duties. You will be viewed as the welcoming point of contact for external partners and ensure that the team is set up for success within a growing organization. Additionally, there is the opportunity to support with Human Resources related tasks such as recruitment, expense reports, travel arrangements and onboarding. From a technology standpoint, you will be expected to use the Microsoft Office 365 suite of products including but not limited to Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Must Haves - 3+ years'' experience overseeing office operations from either an Office Management or Executive Assistant role, preferably within the construction industry - Hands on experience managing office supplies, appointment booking and lease management - Strong attention to detail and task prioritization experience - Proficient within the Microsoft Office 365 suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing tasks Plusses - Any experience or exposure to HR related tasks such as onboarding, training, recruitment and accounting Logistics Location: Toronto, ON Environment: On-site 5-days/week Role Structure: 6-month Contract-to-Hire Rate/Salary: $35-$45/hr throughout contract duration; $90k-$110k/yr salary upon conversion to permanent
