Job Purpose : We are looking for a passionate and experienced Site Superintendent to join our dynamic team. In this key role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising construction work on site, ensuring that deadlines and quality standards are met. You will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure smooth operations while ensuring compliance with safety requirements and regulations. More specifically, your daily responsibilities with us will include : Planning, coordinating, and supervising construction work on site (scheduling, quality control, etc.) Executing work according to construction plans and specifications Setting priorities and directing subcontractors based on the project schedule Minimizing budget impacts while respecting the decisions of the Project Manager Working closely with the Project Manager (monitoring, communication of deadlines, etc.) Acting as a representative of Cogir Construction and maintaining good relationships Ensuring compliance with laws and standards on the job site (health, safety, construction, etc.) Overseeing material management: delivery, reception, storage, and handling of equipment Participating in site meetings and planning coordination meetings Writing daily work reports Ensuring a positive work environment on site The ideal candidate has: Proven organizational skills and respect for deadlines Attention to detail and thoroughness Team-oriented and strong communication skills Ability to make quick and effective decisions on the field High responsiveness and ability to manage priorities in a dynamic environment Conflict management and problem-solving skills on site Strong ability to work under pressure while maintaining work quality Strong focus on safety and compliance with applicable standards Required Qualifications: 5 to 10 years of experience as a Site Superintendent (10+ years is an asset) Experience in residential or condominium projects (an asset) Proficiency in reading plans and specifications Computer skills Good knowledge of construction industry standards and laws What will be offered to you: Competitive salary Group insurance Sick leave and family obligations Employee assistance program Telemedicine Vacation On-site parking Career opportunities Stimulating challenges that match your ambitions!
