Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Executive Chef role located in Toronto, Canada. We are seeking an experienced and visionaryExecutive Chefto lead the culinary direction for our new location opening soon in downtown Toronto. As part of the team behind the acclaimed Adrak restaurants, youll have the opportunity to shape the future of our brand through innovative menu development and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in high-end dining, deep knowledge of South Asian and modern grill cuisines, and exceptional leadership skills to inspire and guide our culinary vision, while creating innovative menus, managing kitchen staff, ensuring food quality and safety, and maintaining high culinary standards. Duties Oversee culinary operations, ensuring seamless execution and consistency in food quality and presentation. Develop and implement innovative menus that highlight South Asian cuisine, with a focus on seasonal and unique ingredients. Collaborate with kitchen teams to maintain culinary standards and drive operational efficiency. Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen leadership and staff, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. Ensure outlet complies with food safety regulations and maintain organized, hygienic kitchen environments. Monitor food costs, manage supplier relationships, and oversee inventory control. Partner with senior management to align culinary strategies with brand goals and market trends. Skills Proven expertise in fine dining, with a focus on Modern, South Asian or globally inspired cuisines. Exceptional leadership skills, with experience managing high-end kitchen operations. Strong knowledge of tandoor and other latest cooking techniques. Proficiency in food cost management, inventory control, and kitchen operations. Creative culinary vision with a commitment to innovation and excellence. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team and cross-department collaboration. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $100,000.00-$110,000.00 per year Experience: Cooking: 5 years (preferred)
