Our client, a leading Utility Co in the Oakville Ontario area is adding a Human Resources Manager to their team. This role will be Hybrid in office and be a blend of hands-on and strategic. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who is a strong HR operator who can deliver HR to the managers and employees of the organization. The position will be responsible for Talent Management, Recruitment, L&D Compliance, Benefits, HR systems, Payroll, and Employee Relations. While most of the workforce will be in Canada, knowledge of US workforces and regulations is a plus Requirements Bachelors Degree 5+ years of progressive HR Management Experience Strong knowledge of Canadian and US labor laws, tax requirements, and compliance obligations. Experience building or significantly developing a HR function Ability to develop and implement HR policies, manage complex employee relations issues, and navigate cross-border employment laws.
