The Opportunity: We currently have an immediate opening for a Media Sales Account Manager. As a member of the AZURE Media Sales team, the Media Sales Account Manager will contribute to successfully growing the business while maximizing revenue streams with existing and new partners. Responsibilities include: Managing a sales territory and growing established relationships with existing partners, advertising and public relations agencies Prospecting for new business through effective and selective research, sourcing leads, cold calling, and generating sales on Azures multimedia platforms Creation and delivery of customized and innovative sales proposals for our roster of top-tier clients and partners Scheduling and attending sales meetings with business owners, marketers, ad agencies and other stakeholders to identify marketing challenges and goals, and present targeted partnership solutions Attending industry and client events on a regular basis This role reports directly to the EVP Strategy & Revenue The ideal candidate has: A minimum of 5-years of sales experience in the media industry across print, digital, branded content or events A keen interest in contemporary architecture and design and experience with premium advertising brands is an asset Preferably a degree in marketing/advertising, great written and communication skills, strong organizational skills and familiarity with the digital media landscape and its marketing opportunities Proven experience in generating new business and in achieving sales revenue targets Excellent presentation skills and the ability to connect and develop relationships with decision makers Fast learner who can adapt, understand and contribute to our media mandate and proposition A creative and positive mind who can thrive in our fast changing media landscape Excellent knowledge of CRM software, Excel, PowerPoint etc. This is a full-time, on-site position. Based in the lower Junction triangle of Toronto, our office is an exciting open-concept renovated space in a former industrial building.
