Currently, Manga Hotels owns and operates 32 hotels with over 6000 rooms across Canada and in the United States, 18 food and beverage outlets and 9 airport parking sites with a number of new properties and developments in the pipeline. As Manga Hotel Group continues to expand, we are actively seeking talented individuals to join our growing team. As Corporate Director of Sales, you will work at our head office to lead and oversee overall sales activity at the various hotels, engage property level sales teams, and ensure sales objectives are being met across the portfolio. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Being well versed in Marriott, Hilton, IHG and Hyatt sales and marketing strategies; Managing overall corporate hotel sales and marketing plans across properties to ensure and deliver focused and productive sales efforts for all market segments; Developing sales strategies and tactics that align and support the corporate strategic plan across properties; Overseeing all the property-level Directors of Sales to ensure sales and marketing plans are executed to drive revenue; Working closely with the Corporate Senior Management Team to identify and drive focused sales and marketing activities for all regions; Understanding revenue management and ensuring revenues/yields are maximized based on demand and growth requirements; Overseeing corporate contracts for various properties in accordance with current business and pricing conditions; Overseeing weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as required and analyzing external reports and resources to establish market positions for all properties working with local Directors of Sales; Overseeing all the existing assigned accounts/segments and working diligently to develop new business; Developing sales and marketing initiatives by implementing and monitoring appropriate local activities; Identifying opportunities to increase on-going and additional revenue streams and creating value by challenging existing processes, encouraging innovation, and driving necessary change; and Having excellent time management skills, being self-motivated and proactive as well as organizationally savvy with a keen focus on detail. Qualifications Must have at least 5 years experience as a director, regional head or vice president of sales for a hotel group overseeing multiple hotels Sales and marketing experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG and/or Hyatt hotels Excellent communication skills interpersonal, written and public/media relations Must have deep knowledge and understanding of hotel sales and operations Ability to understand, interpret and process financial data for sales purposes Positive attitude and supportive, team-based approach towards the attainment of corporate sales goals Ability to travel and work flexible hours and days A proven record of leadership and team development necessary A working knowledge of Delphi is a plus Computer Literacy (Word, Excel, Power Point) Job Type: Full-time Benefits: Extended health care Schedule: Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: Etobicoke, ON M9W 6L2 Experience in sales: 10 years
