The Opportunity: Our client, a leading organization in the dental industry, is seeking a strategic Director, Human Resources to lead and enhance their HR functions. What Youll Be Doing: Provide strategic leadership in all HR functions, including compensation, recruitment, corporate training, and health & safety. Develop and scale an HR team aligned with the companys growth through mergers and acquisitions. Work closely with the Executive Team to integrate and align HR strategies with overall business objectives. Oversee the creation and implementation of HR policies, programs, and best practices to support a positive work environment. Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws, including Occupational Health & Safety, WCB, EI, privacy, and employment standards. Manage and oversee direct reports, providing performance appraisals, coaching, and professional development. Establish and manage essential HR services, including job classification systems, compensation structures, and total rewards programs. Develop and deliver training programs, including leadership and supervisory development, and maintain a company-wide onboarding program. Oversee the companys health & safety programs, promoting a culture of workplace safety and compliance. What Youll Need to Be Successful: Bachelors degree in Business or a related field; CHRP accreditation or enrollment preferred. Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience in a multi-location service-based organization. Strong knowledge of HR systems, employment legislation, compensation programs, and workplace safety regulations. Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that support business growth and employee engagement. Exceptional leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills. Strong planning, analytical, and organizational abilities with a focus on continuous improvement. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and database management. Ability to travel nationally as required.
