Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Electrical & Mechanical Engineering Site Inspector to join our dynamic team. This role involves overseeing the quality, compliance, and progress of on-site construction and installation activities. The successful candidate will ensure that all electrical and mechanical systems are implemented in accordance with design specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Inspect and monitor electrical and mechanical installations on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and standards. Review and verify contractor work for quality, safety, and compliance with applicable codes and regulations. Conduct regular site visits and prepare detailed inspection reports, documenting findings, deviations, and corrective actions. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve technical issues and implement improvements. Verify the use of approved materials and methods in installations. Attend site meetings to provide updates and address engineering-related concerns. Identify potential risks and recommend mitigation measures to ensure project timelines and budgets are met. Qualifications: Bachelors degree or diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in site inspection or a similar role, preferably in ICI buildings. Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, standards, and codes. Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and schematics. Familiarity with safety regulations and quality assurance practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Preferred Skills: Certification in construction site safety is an advantage.
