Overview: The Sr. Pricing Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the organizations strategy by evaluating, analyzing, and interpreting cost requests for new and existing business. The Sr. Pricing Analyst will be a cross-functional team member working with sales, marketing, and finance teams to track, prioritize, and cost new and existing business effectively. Additionally, the Sr. Pricing Analyst works with commercial finance to support post-launch reviews and innovation tracking. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Analyze complex data sets, collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate insights into actionable business decisions. Assist the Sr. Finance Analyst, Procurement, in creating, reviewing and analyzing cost requests with tight deadlines. Develop and maintain costing models/tools to support business decision-making (e.g., product development costing tool). Support the Revenue Manager in maintaining a centralized database of historical pricing data, contracts, trade spend programs, and market changes, and the impact of various changes over time. Act as a liaison between Commercial Finance and Procurement Finance to assess customer profitability amid market fluctuations and commodity changes. Partner with the master data team to ensure timely updates to Bills of Materials in response to business changes. Conduct data analysis for Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and support category management in developing long-term cost-saving/mitigation strategies. Provide analytical support to various teams to drive informed decision-making. Perform other duties as assigned. Experience, Qualifications, and Educational Requirements: Post-secondary education in business, accounting, or a related field, with 35 years of experience in Commercial Finance or Costing. Financial operational experience in the food industry preferred. Advanced proficiency in Excel. Experience with JDE / HUBBLE Insight software is an asset. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven ability to build strong relationships and provide consultative support to business partners. Attention to detail with the ability to assess impacts on both a macro and micro level. Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with stakeholders. Ability to remain flexible, agile, and adaptable while delivering results under pressure. Strong customer service orientation. Self-motivated and committed to continuous improvement.
