Coverall is looking for a Business Development Associate in Fort McMurray, Alberta, who will identify new opportunities and follow up on potential leads to grow Coveralls industrial workwear, laundry cleaning, and rental services. They''''ll monitor industry trends to identify emerging markets in Alberta and develop growth plans to enter those markets. They are looking for someone with at least 1-2 years of sales experience along with an ambitious entrepreneurial mindset, is self-motivated with a high bias for action, takes ownership, and is a talented communicator. As such, they''''ll already have contacts in the energy industry and an ability to create trusting business relationships and arent easily discouraged by hearing no the first time. This is an in-office, in-person role in Fort McMurray with business travel as required to grow the business and reports to the companys President. Our recruiting process is simple. Responsibilities Present Coveralls unique product features and great garment and cleaning services to current and potential clients Complete direct sales of Armour Ready products Convert competitor accounts into company accounts to increase the customer base using creative sales strategies, including in other Alberta markets Develop strong and trusting business relationships that create mutually beneficial partnerships Attend trade shows and regional conferences to showcase our products and services to potential clients Promptly respond to sales and product enquiries, converting those enquiries into new business relationships and sales Make presentations to potential clients using required tools, such as Microsoft PowerPoint Schedule and communicate short-term and medium-term client visit plans, including logging customer interactions and reminders in the CRM tool Prepare and submit internal sales reports, including status reports, activity reports, and analyzing open quotes that are generated What you need to succeed A minimum of 1-2 years of sales experience, with existing contacts in the energy industry Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Strong time management and organizational skills A strong bias for action, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability An entrepreneurial mindset that isnt discouraged by hearing no the first time Effective verbal and written communication and presentation skills Full Class 5 Alberta Drivers license with a clean abstract Physical ability to bend, climb stairs, and continuously stand and walk What would give you an edge Specific industry experience in the laundry, and workwear business Best Culture Solutions appreciates the time and efforts of all those who apply for this role, however, only applicants selected for an interview will be contacted.
