Summary (Focus of position): Rex Inside Sales Agents form a 7 person Inside Sales Team. This is a supervisory role for the department, whose primary function includes providing quotations, processing orders, and interacting with customers; this includes the more complex (commercially & technically) projects that Rex bids on. **ELECTRICAL INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE and SUPERVISORY EXPERIENCE are mandatory requirements for application** Responsiveness, resourcefulness, and tactful methodical handling of large projects is expected. In this role, the employee acts as a resource, supports our marketing activities, and personally handles an exemplary volume of customer inquiries. Qualifications: - Multi-year Experience within a senior sales function in the the electrical industry Excellent competence of electrical industrial equipment, relevant quality systems, and certifications Multi-year experience with personnel supervision and delegation of tasks Knowledge of contract law, commercial terms and conditions for the sale of goods, strong computer skills, including spreadsheet, document management server, pdf handling, etc. Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, customer service inclination, positive attitude. Excellent prioritization, ability to maintain focus, organization, and productivity. Intrinsic motivation, intrinsic goal-setting for improvement of quality and department function Duties & Responsibilities: A) Supervision and Participation in ''Provide Pricing for distribution transformers'' a. Utilize Rex Price Book, Customer Price lists, discount tables, and general directives from Marketing Manager, to price requests in a timely and professional manner b. Utilize above noted resources for price verification/amendment of orders. Perform required steps before order entry stage. c. Collect design and commercial feedback from others, compile and submit quotations. d. Obtain cost for special components, discuss charges/adders for special cases. e. Enter required data on order cover sheet. B) Supervision and Participation in ''Marketing & Communications Support'' a. Fulfil requests for marketing materials (development, distribution, etc) b. Assist in completion of marketing campaigns (web, print, etc) with leadership from Marketing Manager and US Sales Manager. c. Assist in development of marketing collateral (web, print, etc) C) Oversee and Handle Major Project Quotations: a. Detailed technical and commercial review for technically and commercially complex RFPs b. Coordination-of design-for-quote c. Procure/prepare components, purchased parts d. Comply with submission requirements (datasheets, markups, SLD interpretation) e. Fulfil management assigned objectives, with accountability for i. business level ii. rush loading level iii. profit targets f. Support new systems for logging and document coordination D) Inside Sales Resource a. Provide technical/pricing resource for Inside Sales b. Participate in projects (ie Price List Analysis, new customer price lists) c. Assist with cost estimation; provide direction for escalated requests d. Assist on distribution transformer requests when urgently required E) Marketing & Communications Support a. When requested, provide customer facing support, technical resources and clarification, preliminary technical assistance, and marketing resources Health & Safety Observe company safety rules and procedures; set an example for office/plant conduct, professionalism, and harmony.
