Job Description #GTA #hybrid We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Distribution Support Specialist to join our Group Benefits and Savings and Retirement (GBRS) team. Reporting to the National Vice-President, Distribution, Group Retirement, the Sales Assistant will support the Ontario group savings and benefits sales team in managing client relationships, preparing sales materials, responding to distributor inquiries, and liaising with other internal departments. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Your focus: Contribute to the sales team in preparing proposals, presentations, and sales materials. Contribute to the preparation and submission of new business proposals and renewals by gathering insights and different information using client information and Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools. Collaborate frequently with key internal stakeholders. Manage and update client information in the CRM system. Support the sales team in tracking sales performance and preparing reports. Coordinate and schedule meetings, calls, and appointments. Help organize client events. Respond to client inquiries including management of general mailbox and provide excellent customer service. Maintain organized records of sales activities and client interactions. Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services to clients. Management of expense reports, financial provisions, invoice payments and other administrative tasks. Plan, coordinate and prepare regional meetings and follow-up on regional KPIs and actions. Is this you? Diploma in administration as well as a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Salesforce knowledge an asset. Knowledge of group savings and retirement products and group benefits (an asset). Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and communication skills. Structured, organized, and able to deal with very tight deadlines and multiple conflicting priorities. Extremely organized, autonomous, proactive, and thorough, with the ability to anticipate needs/challenges and respond accordingly even in situations of ambiguity. Team player with the ability to be extremely effective independently. Proven ability to adapt to a variety of competing demands and demonstrate the highest level of customer service and response. Demonstrated ability to meet high-performance objectives and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong skills in Microsoft Suite programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), social media tools, and a willingness to learn new technologies (AI, CRM).
