Business system analyst ( D365 F &O)12 Month contractLocation MississaugaMajor tasks and duties:The primary responsibility of the Business Systems Analyst is to ensure the smooth operation of business applications, especially in supporting and facilitating the transition to Dynamics D365 F&O. Specific duties include: Business Analysis: Translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications and design documents for business systems. Testing and Validation: Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and procedures, including test script creation and execution, to ensure system quality and performance. Training: Design and deliver training plans, create training materials, and coordinate end-user training sessions to ensure effective use of business applications. End-User Support: Provide full-cycle support to business application users, ensuring high levels of customer service and issue resolution. Incident Management: Manage incidents and support requests from initial investigation through resolution, including designing fixes, conducting testing, and deploying solutions. Process Improvement: Conduct regular analyses of recurring issues to identify potential system or process improvements, leading to increased efficiency and reduced downtime. System Optimization: Identify and recommend opportunities for system improvements and process automation, then drive the implementation of these enhancements. Stakeholder Collaboration: Maintain regular communication with business stakeholders to understand their needs, ensure alignment with system capabilities, and provide ongoing support. Vendor Coordination: Liaise with external consultants and vendors to facilitate the successful delivery of application enhancements or fixes.KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: ERP Expertise: Strong knowledge of Microsoft D365 F&O, including finance, supply chain, and operations modules. Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience required. Business Applications Knowledge: Familiarity with enterprise business systems and applications, such as PLM and CRM tools, within a mid-to-large organization. Systems Analysis: Experience in systems analysis, business process mapping, and software development practices, with a focus on agile methodology. Educational Background: A post-secondary degree in computer science, business analysis, information systems, or a related field. Certifications : Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O Functional Consultant, CSM, CBAP are advantageous. CSM Preferred Global Collaboration: Ability to work within a global business landscape, collaborating with colleagues across multiple regions and time zones. Communication Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
