PURPOSE: The French Bilingual Recruiter is responsible for the timely placement of quality candidates for requisitioned vacancies. The incumbent will source candidates using a variety for recruiting methods and will be responsible for advancing the company brand across numerous markets and professional communities. The Recruiter directly impacts the brand and reputation of the company through their interactions with applicants, community vendor, resource centers and leaders. The recruiting experience is an important moment of truth for every applicant; thus, the Recruiter is responsible to ensure that experience is positive, professional and second to none. ORGANIZATIONAL PLACEMENT: This position reports to the Recruiting Lead PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Confer with the Senior Recruiter/Recruiting Lead for recruiting assignments Review online applications and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements Conduct screening interviews and pre-employment testing Interview candidates and provide detailed information on the company, our client and review job description with expectations Prepare routine documentation appropriate to the recruitment process and engagement of new employees Perform detailed reference checks, credit and background checks as required Extend employment offers to candidates Actively seek participation in community job fairs Maintain accurate recruiting documentation on all candidates Maintain electronic application tools like HRDC and the Company recruiting portal Submit weekly reports of recruiting landscape Build relationships with key external sources of candidates Participate in the development of creative and cost-effective sourcing strategies Identify low applicant pool and partner with Marketing to increase candidate numbers Ensure compliance with applicable federal and provincial legislation/regulations The above statements are intended to indicate the general nature and level of work being performed by employees within this classification.
