Clinical Research Specialist / Patient Liaison - Patient Recruitment - Home Based Within a clinical trial, recruiting patients to participate is frequently the most difficult and time-consuming activity. To conquer this, AutoCruitment has developed a targeted, direct-to-patient online marketing platform to recruit, screen, and refer patients for clinical trials and specialty procedures. We are currently looking to strengthen our team at AutoCruitment and are seeking a home-based Clinical Research Specialist. The Clinical Research Specialist will be responsible for facilitating contact between Patients and Research Sites with the aim of randomizing more patients in the study. Job Duties As a Clinical Research Specialist / Patient Liaison you will be: Responsible for contacting referrals through phone and email communication Maintaining a record of all communications within a computerized database. Responsible for updating the status of all subjects in the database by following up with the patients on their progress through the recruitment process. Developing and utilizing study-specific scripts to screen patients Assisting management in implementing effective referral retention strategies. Attend all required team meetings within the company. Regularly communicating with peers to determine study sites needs. Proactively identifying challenges and/or potential efficiencies and raising them to the team. Education and Experience Bachelors degree required Customer service, Patient service, or Patient Call Centre experience preferred Experience working in a clinical research setting an asset Knowledge and application of ICH-GCP, FDA guidelines Skills Must possess a high degree of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality regarding patient matters and other sensitive information. Excellent communication (oral and written) skills Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Outlook, Word) and Web applications. Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work well independently as well as with co-workers, peers, and supervisors. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously effectively and efficiently with precision Self-motived and driven to reach goals/objectives with limited management oversight Good attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects
