Qualifications and Requirements: Education: A diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, or a related field. Certification such as National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) or equivalent. JHSC certification Working at Heights Certification. Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a safety role within the construction industry, preferably in high-rise projects. Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and associated regulations. Familiarity with WSIB processes, Ministry of Labour compliance requirements, and best practices for high-rise construction safety. Working knowledge of Corfix Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in preparing reports, using safety management software, and delivering effective training. Ability to work collaboratively with site personnel, management, and regulatory agencies. Ability to work alone. Other Requirements: Valid Ontario drivers license and access to reliable transportation.
