Job Summary: Reporting into the Consumer Insights Department, the Consumer Insights Manager is responsible for leading research studies, panels and ongoing insights platforms to better understand our consumers for brand purposes. Acting as a strategic partner for both internal and external clients, the Consumer Insights Manager provides analyses, recommendations, and solutions to create deeper consumer understanding, inspire and invigorate innovation, and test and create better products and consumer campaigns. Key Responsibilities: Consumer Insights Developing & implementing learning plans for assigned brands. Conducting and leading consumer profile & trend evaluations and concept testing to develop key insights and growth opportunities Partner with internal brand, product and R&D teams to strategize one-to-five-year pipeline of innovations Performance Analysis & Monitoring Analyze POS and panel data, margins, and KPIs to evaluate brand performance. Identify improvement opportunities and propose corrective actions. Cross-Department Collaboration Support marketing & sales teams by providing relevant consumer and category insights. In some occasions, attending client meetings to present said consumer insights Work closely with our R&D and Marketing team to develop consumer insights that result in ground-breaking innovation, data-driven messaging and award-winning campaigns. Partner collaboratively with external market research agencies to maximize budget, output and insights to bring back to our internal team. 4. Innovation and Continuous Improvement Identify and introduce product innovations or emerging trends within Canada and within the category. Stay updated on industry best practices and recommend process improvements. Job Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Analytics, Business Administration or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of Relevant experience in consumer insights management, market research, preferably in the food industry or FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) Strong analytical skills and proficiency in insights & data management tools (Nielsen, Tableau, Ipsos, ERP software, etc.). Strong strategic thinking, ability to review large sets of qualitative and quantitative data and pull out key insights aligned with strategic actions. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication, deckbuilding and storytelling skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Knowledge of the cultural and linguistic specifics of the Quebec market.
