This is a true generalist role that includes aspects of administrative support, data collection/analytics, employee relations, acquisition integration, process improvement, and facilitating alignment of new acquisitions with Navacords culture, processes, and tools. RESPONSIBILITIES HR Compliance & Governance: Support our Navacord Broker partners to develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and update policies to reflect changes in legislation and best practices. Collect, analyze, and report data across the Navacord Broker Partners, including turnover data, compliance information, workforce details, and advisor statistics through various tracking methods. Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policy matters, and employee relations best practices with a primary focus on our Navacord Corporate Team and Broker Partners outside an HR Shared Service model. Create compliance checklists to support regulatory adherence across broker partners. Conduct audits as needed to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance, and then support businesses in closing any identified gaps. Culture & Engagement: Facilitate the implementation of our identified One Culture priorities that enhance well-being and transform company culture. Partner with the HR team and local business leaders to align people strategies with business objectives, driving organizational change and transformation. Monitor the pulse of employees and report on Broker Partner action plans, supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, and Navacord-wide culture and engagement initiatives. Support Navacord ESG initiatives and reporting as needed Project Management & HR Technology Implementation: Support HR projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives. Develop and facilitate project plans and timelines coordinating with cross-functional teams for successful execution. Support implementation and integration of HR technology systems, and monitoring processes by providing training and support to HR team members and other stakeholders. Other HR Projects & Initiatives: Support programs and processes that support the growth and HR transformation of various Navacord partners nationwide, including but not limited to performance management, compensation, employee engagement, succession planning, and M&A integration activity. Collaborate with HR team members, cross-functional partners, and business leaders to improve HR programs and initiatives, creating, updating, and managing the necessary tools and resources. Create internal and external communications related to HR programs, initiatives, processes, or changes. Continuously update and streamline HR processes, operations, procedures, and initiatives based on business needs, supporting employee relations outside an HR shared service model. Promote HR collaboration across Navacord''s national HR network and create best practice templates that can be leveraged by our Presidents & HR team. Perform other tasks and responsibilities as assigned. REQUIREMENTS Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience. CHRP (or equivalent) designation or working towards it. 3+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally as a Generalist in a growing company. Strong customer service, business acumen, process management, and negotiation skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with bilingual skills in English and French as an asset. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize competing tasks. Must be able to keep sensitive information confidential. Experience in the Insurance industry is preferred. Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Suite with an analytical mindset is preferred.
