As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will act as a backup resource as designated by the Maintenance Manager. Your responsibilities will include: Build strong relationships across teams to identify and address maintenance needs. Manage and optimize the annual maintenance budget, ensuring cost efficiency and timely corrective actions. Prioritize and schedule machine repairs, maintenance, and installations to support smooth production operations. Collaborate on product development by coordinating equipment modifications with engineers and technicians. Oversee utility systems to ensure reliable provision of power. Develop and refine preventive maintenance programs by analyzing reports and inspecting equipment for compliance with standards. Lead maintenance operations by enforcing policies, assigning tasks, and monitoring team performance. Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance challenges through collaboration with management and technical teams. Ensure a safe workplace by enforcing health and safety standards and maintaining cleanliness. Train, coach, and evaluate maintenance staff to maximize team performance and growth. Stay up to date with industry advancements through workshops, publications, and networking. Support team goals by taking on related duties, projects, and tasks as directed. What you bring to the job You are someone who can work in a high-noise, high-heat, and humid plant environment. You also come with the following qualifications: 35+ years of supervisory experience in maintenance, preferably in manufacturing. 3+ years experience working in a large manufacturing plant, and in a high-volume production environment. Certified Trades License or a post-secondary degree/diploma in a technical field. 5+ years of manufacturing experience Experience in the past as a mechanic or an electrician Strong communication, interpersonal, and math skills for effective budgeting and reporting. Able to provide on-call support across shifts and occasional weekend work. Physical requirements include standing, walking, lifting, and moderate mental focus for report preparation and analysis.
