On behalf of our Canadian Telecommunication Client, Hogarth is hiring a Senior Social Media Producer on a contract basis starting April 1,2025. This position will sit directly imbedded into our clients team in either Vancouver or Toronto. This role will join our clients Studio as part of an extended creative workbench with Hogarth. This new role would partner with various teams to strategize, concept, create and deliver social content for external audiences. To be successful, youll have a strong grasp of production, motion design principles, editing, graphic design and an equally strong understanding of social media formats and audiences. You will be part of a team of creative professionals in this Studio who are relentless in their search for new ways to engage audiences with great content. Our clients culture fosters collaborative learning in a fast-paced environment. Where they push boundaries while protecting, playing in and advancing the brand and supporting our clients. Youll also be an integral part of the Social Media and Brand Marketing team, a larger collective of brand and social media professionals who understand the companys narratives, channels, audiences and trends, and need a dedicated senior creator to partner with on building an overall content vision, from strategy to execution. Responsibilities: Strategize with clients over content requirements Conceive of, and build creative based on general briefs Offer innovative social content solutions that champion the TELUS brand Be the hands-on creator of static design and motion assets, from ideation to delivery Film content independently, when required Create production budgets, when required, for client approval Craft compelling scripts and storyboards using your proven storytelling capabilities Present your ideas and storyboards to clients for approval Push the boundaries for what is possible using different formats Required Skills & Abilities: Passionate social media trend and content hunter who can quickly turn ideas into creative reality Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite with expertise in Adobe After Effects, Premiere and Photoshop Relevant experience producing creative for social media Demonstrated ability to create assets to the highest standards on tight timelines Understanding of design principles and the application of brand guidelines Strong attention to detail as well as written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively within a team Ability to work effectively with minimal guidance Understanding of and ability to work within a multi-tiered review process Strategic creative thinker; you can take general direction and see the path to fantastic results Embrace problem solving and can think on your feet Persuasive presentation skills Manage varying volumes and priorities in a fast-paced environment Required Experience: 5+ years creative production experience Agency experience is considered an asset A diploma or degree in production, design or equivalent An online portfolio that demonstrates social media-appropriate aesthetics and design principles
