Job Description

The HR and Admin Support role provides administrative and operational support throughout the Company. This position is ideal for students currently enrolled in a business or human resources program who are looking to gain practical experience in HR and administrative functions. This is a hybrid position, requiring 4 days a week, in-office. We have two offices (Milton and Vaughan). The candidate can be based out of either office, and should expect to work 1 day a week at the other office. This posting is for a 12- or 16-month position. The candidate must be enrolled in a program that includes an internship program. Key Responsibilities: 1. HR Administration Assist with maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal details, employment contracts, and performance reviews. Support the recruitment process by posting job ads, prescreening candidates, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference and background checks. Help facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including administering orientation programs and completing necessary paperwork. Assist with employee benefits enrollment. Assist with vacation tracking. 2. Administrative Support Provide general administrative support, including managing office supplies, scheduling meetings, taking meeting notes and handling correspondence. Assist in organizing company events. Assist with timecard and expense report tracking. Position Requirements: Qualifications: Currently enrolled in a business, human resources, or related program. Prior experience working in an administrative position is considered an asset. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Key Competencies: Attention to detail and accuracy. Strong problem-solving skills.
