The ideal candidate will be expected to thrive in a fast-paced work environment, where collaboration with project managers, on-site supervisors, and field staff is crucial. The company emphasizes multi-trade coordination, pre-fabrication, and modularization throughout the project cycle, from initial design to final fabrication. Must Have: Extensive knowledge of Revit. Extensive knowledge of Navisworks and working knowledge of clash detection practices. Nice to Have: Experience working on hospital projects Revizto Vic Tools for Revit Autodesk Point Layout AutoCad Autodesk Inventor Bluebeam Practical Knowledge of plumbing code Responsibilities: Utilize Revit to design and coordinate Mechanical and Plumbing systems daily. Develop models from design to as-built conditions and create detailed 2D and 3D construction documents for installation and pre-fabrication, such as sleeve layouts, installation drawings, fabrication drawings, pipe spooling, quantity take-offs, and as-builts. Work independently and collaboratively with other trades and partners on fast-paced projects. Update and track changes of existing models and attend design/construction coordination and clash detection meetings with other trades. Collaborate with field staff to optimize installation, review and inspect installations, and issue reports. Manage sub-trades in the BIM environment and prioritize tasks. Stay up to date with industry best practices by attending educational workshops and seminars, reviewing professional publications, establishing a personal network of industry peers, and being highly motivated to learn.
