Context: To strengthen the IKOS team in Canada we are looking for Operations Engineer to work on large-scale railway projects. Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the entire bidding process , including analyzing RFPs, developing competitive bids, cost estimates, and project plans in collaboration with internal teams. Oversee daily railway operations , ensuring the optimal performance of all systems (tracks, rolling stock, and wayside facilities) and adherence to safety and regulatory standards . Lead and manage the execution of railway projects from initiation to completion, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and compliance. Ensure adherence to Canadian railway standards and regulations throughout the project''s lifecycle. Provide in-depth technical guidance on railway systems, including track maintenance, rolling stock operations, signaling, and wayside infrastructure to ensure operational reliability. Manage relationships with stakeholders, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in railway project management, with a strong focus on operations and maintenance (O&M). Bachelors degree in engineering Mechanical or Electrical or a related technical engineering field. In depth knowledge of Class 1 railway systems in Canada with understanding of Canadian railway standards and industry best practices. Proven experience in managing the full lifecycle of railway projects, from bidding to completion. Strong understanding of railway systems, wayside infrastructure, and O&M requirements. Experience with tools like DOORS and other similar software Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. French language proficiency is a plus. Get on the right Track! ????
