Role: Jr. Financial Analyst As a Jr. Financial Analyst you will be assisting the Financial Analyst in performing complex financial analyses for a wide variety of projects including: performance analytics (profitability/productivity modelling and reporting), performance based payroll calculation (commissions and bonuses), and various other financial analyses on new products and programs. You will often be required to lead projects, develop and implement new methodologies and make recommendations to improve both the business and processes within the Finance team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Collect and evaluate data, develop and maintain financial models, analyze results and conduct scenario analyses Reconcile data results from different sources and combine them into integrated reports spanning cost, quality, utilization, and risk profile metrics Follow and conduct audit processes and review internal controls to ensure financial transactions are accurate, timely and comply with accounting standards, principles and company policy Participate on internal workgroups and committees to provide analytical insight and support for the implementation and enhancement of new programs, products, and services Prepare and present reports and dashboards on performance analytics to internal stakeholders Work closely with IT teams to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data REQUIREMENTS Highly motivated, detailed-oriented complete problem solver, with an ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college in Canada or the USA, major in accounting, finance, business, or related field Experienced in Microsoft suite of products specifically a high level of Excel skills Work experience as a financial analyst or in a related field Ability to work with stakeholders to assess potential risks High-level written and verbal communication skills Job Type: Full-time, In person Benefits: Dental care Paid time off Schedule: Monday to Friday Salary: $55,000 CAD
