Adecco is currently hiring a full-time proactive and knowledgeable HR Advisor to join our clients team in Calgary, AB for a 12-month contract term. In this role you will provide comprehensive support to employees and leaders throughout the employee lifecycle. Acting as a primary point of contact for HR-related matters, this role offers guidance on HR programs, policies, and processes while ensuring compliance and promoting a positive employee experience. In this role you should be able to deal with sensitive information in a confidential and professional manner. You should be highly adaptable, skilled at managing multiple priorities, and possess strong organizational, customer service, and analytical skills in order to meet deadlines. Location: Calgary, AB Shift: 8:00am 5:00pm | 4days per week in office, 1 day from home Job type: Temporary | Full-time | 12-month contract Here''s why you should apply: Paid weekly accurate and on time Strong health and safety programs Medical and dental benefits once qualified Free training programs New and quicker onboarding process Responsibilities: Provide timely and accurate transactional support for employee life cycle events through partnering with the business and internal HR teams (e.g. Total Rewards, Talent Management, HR Business Partners) for your respective client areas Support the implementation and execution of annual HR programs such as performance, compensation, and talent assessments with the Strategic HR Partners Provide excellent customer service support by responding to employee and leader inquiries via phone, e-mail and ServiceNow Contribute to the HR portal and knowledge management strategy through the effective use of Service Now ticket documentation, tracking, and resolution Support the development and maintenance of internal and external facing HR knowledge articles within ServiceNow Maintain knowledge of organizational and departmental policies and procedures to answer general employee and leader inquiries while adhering to company values and practices Collaborate with COEs in the roll-out and implementation of enterprise-wide programs, practices, and training Manage employee overpayment process by providing background and guidance including working with employees on repayment plans Manage the termination process including determination of severance, coordination of logistics, terms and conditions and outplacement in consultation with legal Understand requirements from internal stakeholders to review, improve and coordinate changes for internal documents Assist with the creation of materials related to HR procedures and policies (e.g. process documentation, letter templates, FAQs, quick-reference cards etc.) Qualifications: Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada Post-secondary Degree/Diploma combined with 5+ years of HR experience Experience working in an HR shared services operating model is preferred Experience working with Workday, SAP and ServiceNow is preferred Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong analytical skills with ability to contribute to decisions and recommendations Superior organization skills, along with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail
