Expeditor Oakville, Ontario. Introduction We are currently seeking an experienced Expeditor based in Oakville, Ontario, to join our clients team. Our client is a global leader in wastewater technologies across various industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and expediting multiple projects simultaneously across various lifecycles; each with 20 - 100 purchase orders. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of orders, shipments, and communications with suppliers, ensuring accuracy and completeness of order documentation, identifying potential delays, and proactively addressing issues to maintain project timelines. This is a one-year contract opportunity (hybrid work schedule) available immediately. Responsibilities Oversee 3 - 6 projects concurrently, each with 20 - 100 purchase orders. On average you will be working with 100 - 150 lines of data. Manage the entire order lifecycle, from creation in SAP to delivery. Expedite orders to ensure timely delivery and adherence to project timelines. Monitor and manage orders with attention to stringent requirements. Create Purchase Orders in SAP. Interface with suppliers to ensure clear communication and efficient order processing. Process invoices accurately and efficiently, maintaining meticulous records. Understand commercial terms relevant to interactions with suppliers. Flag any issues related to commercial terms that may impact the order process. Work with electrical items and parts within industries such as O&G, mining, industrial, and utilities. Requirements 3-5 years of expediting experience, preferably in an EPC or OEM setting. Proficient in SAP with a strong understanding of order management processes. Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
