We are committed to sustainability and ethical manufacturing practices, using premium materials to create pieces that last.ResponsibilitiesBrand Storytelling: Visually tell the MICHI brand story, including brand purpose, values, and the unique story of each collection.Design Development: Evolve and refine the brand identity, media kits, packaging, and other branding materials, while honoring MICHIs history and loyal customer base.Website Content: Design homepage banners, category pages, promotional graphics, and extended website features, such as creative Our Story, 'Sustainability' pages and visual size guides.Photoshoots & Video: Collaborate on planning and executing photoshoots and videos, making selects, and working closely with freelance photo retouchers and video editors to ensure flawless results.Email Campaigns: Create clean, impactful email campaigns aligned with best practices to drive engagement and retention.Social Media: Help craft engaging social content, including photos, videos, gifs, and social graphics, to enhance brand visibility and community engagement.Templates & Guidelines: Develop templates and branding guidelines to support internal efficiency across all communication channels.Printed Collateral: Design quarterly lookbooks and other printed materials to communicate MICHIs identity to customers and stakeholders.Content Calendar: Maintain a 36 month content calendar, attending planning meetings and staying up to date with shifting priorities.Image Editing: Retouch, recolour, edit, and crop images for one-off projects and oversee larger editing jobs with freelance retouchers.Collaboration: Work closely with web developers and marketing teams to ensure a seamless execution of designs into working consumer experiences.Brand Image: Uphold high standards of aesthetic and consistency, ensuring that every detail aligns with the brands vision.Our Ideal CandidateDesign Expertise: Exceptional graphic design, typography, and layout skills with a high level of taste and attention to detail.Experience: 2-3+ years of graphic design experience in a branding-focused role.Tools: Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).Photography & Video: A great eye for selecting and enhancing photography and video, with experience directing edits and retouching.Creativity: Highly innovative with a talent for translating ideas into impactful visuals.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to articulate concepts effectively.Time Management: Skilled in handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Adaptability: Reliable, flexible, and able to pivot as priorities shift.About MICHIMICHI creates technical womens sportswear that seamlessly blends form and function, enabling women to do more with less.
