Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for an Owner Operator Recruiter at Thompson Emergency Freight Systems. The role is based in the Greater Toronto Area, Canada, with the flexibility for some work from home. The Owner Operator Recruiter will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to recruiting and onboarding of Van, Straight Truck and Tractor Trailer owner operator Expedite drivers. Responsibilities include; sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates. Qualifications Recruitment, talent acquisition, and interviewing skills. Knowledge of owner operator logistics and the cross-border transportation industry. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Experience working remotely and independently. Motivation to succeed in attaining monthly targets. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and recruiting software. Previous experience as a driver, dispatcher or logistics is a plus.
