The Learning & Development (L&D) Specialist will be a key contributor to the KFC Canada Restaurant Support Centre (RSC). This role will design, develop, and deliver blended learning solutions, including but not limited to Virtual, eLearning, Microlearning, and, Virtual-instructor-led training. The L&D Specialist will work collaboratively with P&C colleagues, as well as cross-functional stakeholders, to produce effective, timely, engaging, and informative learning outcomes. Key Responsibilities (includes but not limited to): Use existing L&D processes and strategy to design, develop, review, and update eLearning modules, micro-learning, videos, webinars, and other content, applying adult learning principles and using authoring tools such as Vyond, Articulate 360, and Adobeprograms. Work in conjunction and develop effective relationships with P&C colleagues, internal and external stakeholders, and 3rd-party service providers to support the achievement of established L&D objectives. Write, edit, and format documentation and materials needed for curricula, including Leader and Learner guides, workbooks, storyboards, and other training materials as needed. Collaborate with Subject MatterExperts for curriculum reviews, to ensure content is relevant and up to date. Provide occasional updates and maintenance to the Learning Management System(LMS) and provide guidance to technical support team in troubleshooting issues as needed. Work closely with LMS technical support team, to identify internal and/or external emerging issues, trends, and needs, and inform leadership to drive business strategies and decisions. With the support of the L&D Manager, lead and manage learning projects, taking the initiative to set goals, research solutions, and track progress to achieve desired outcomes. Facilitate engaging training sessions, workshops, and seminars for employees at all levels, ensuring content is relevant, impactful, and aligned with the organizations culture and business ambitions. Support the L&D Manager during all stages of a project from start-up to finish within the established timeframes. Partner to create and distribute clear communications about training delivery, including schedules and program updates. Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs via surveys and analyses with internal and external stakeholders. Provide general administrative, logistics, and invoice management support to the L&D team. Key Qualifications: Required Post-secondary diploma or degree in Adult Education, Organizational Psychology, Human Resources, or related field, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience 3+ years demonstrated experience in corporate Learning and Development Experience in applying adult learning and instructional design methodologies Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools, video creation software, and LMS Platforms (Articulate Storyline 360, Vyond) Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Premier Pro, Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher) Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to present to all levels of the organization Creativity, detail and results orientation, collaborative and proactive working style Self-motivated and responsive to external drivers and internal client issues Strong organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment with competing priorities Ability to travel 10% of the time Preferred Bilingual proficiency in English and French Prior experience in QSR or CPG industries *A case study may be included as part of the selection process.
