Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead a high-performing team specializing in rock mechanics, as well as shaft and tunnel design and construction. The successful candidate will play a key role in technical and operational leadership while driving business growth and delivering world-class engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Strategy Provide strategic leadership to identify and leverage opportunities for team growth. Develop team expertise and guide career development for staff members. Work closely with market/client teams to anticipate resource needs and ensure optimal allocation. Operational Management: Manage team performance, ensuring productivity targets are met while controlling overheads. Collaborate with the Practice Director to align skills and team capacity with business needs. Uphold business policies, safety protocols, and quality standards across all operations. Project Delivery: Serve as a Project Director or Manager for complex assignments, leading technical delivery. Drive innovation and incorporate the latest advancements in rock mechanics and tunnel engineering into project designs. Demonstrated leadership in managing successful geotechnical teams and delivering high-quality projects. Proven ability to identify and secure new business opportunities, including fee estimation and proposal preparation. Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of project governance, financial control, and performance management. Passion for integrating technological innovation and best practices into engineering solutions. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively lead teams and collaborate with clients.
