We offer a fast-paced work environment where you can be yourself while being part of something big.Position Summary:We seek a brand ambassador representing our whiskey portfolio, including Bushmills and Proper No. Twelve, Pendleton, The Sexton, Stranahans, and Tincup. Reporting to the National Brand Manager, the Brand Ambassador owns all relationship-building initiatives with on-premise accounts, retail experts, and consumers. The ideal candidate is a whiskey enthusiast with a strong background in bartending/mixology and a passion for educating who is well connected to the cocktail bar and restaurant scene. They will play a critical role in identifying, building, and executing elevated opportunities for trade education and consumer events.National Whiskey Brand Ambassador Role Responsibilities: Manage and build relationships with a roster of accounts via education, brand-building activities, and relationship management. Lead product education sampling events for consumers, trade, retail store staff and product consultants. Training should include, but is not limited to, knowledge of the whiskey category, production processes, taste profiles, cocktail recipes, and food pairings. Represent the brand at key marketing and promotional events (ex., trade shows, charity events, sales meetings, etc.). Be a good steward of our brands on and off hours. You are an extension of our brands; your reputation and conduct reflect the company. Curate and execute relevant brand programming based on key brand initiatives and milestones to keep educational content dynamic and engaging with the target audience. Establish and grow a social media following as the official portfolio ambassador with regular content updates. Work closely with the brand team to provide support as a product expert for media and consumer opportunities, including interviews, private events, and marketing programs. Complete administrative requests in a timely manner, including but not limited to monthly recaps, expense reports, team call participation, etc.Position Requirements:Required: Experience in cocktail bartending, mixology, event management, brand education, or other related fields. Ability to guest bartend at select events with on-premise partners. Demonstrated knowledge of whiskey. Strong written, verbal, presentation, and public speaking skills. Ability to captivate and engage an audience. Up to date Smart Serve qualifications. Reliable transportation to travel to markets surrounding the GTA and make in-market visits while transporting brand promotional materials.Preferred: Network of connections at image accounts in the Canadian restaurant/cocktail bar scene. Strong social media presence and following with the ability to create engaging content. Bar/restaurant event planning experience to build branded events with trade partners. Fluency with Microsoft Office suite of products, primarily Outlook and PowerPoint.
