We have a great group of professionals whose dedication and teamwork form the backbone of our company.Job SummaryThe Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for establishing business partnership with the leadership team, providing strategic insights to financial performance. Essential Job Functions * Budgeting, forecasting as well as monthly financial reviews & analysis with the executive team.Customer pricing, costing and profitability analysisFinancial modelling and analysisSales forecasting by BU, product category, channel & locationAnalyze and review product / gross margins by customer on a monthly basisPartner with sales & marketing groups to manage price changes and make appropriate recommendations for margin improvements.Partner with operations team on cost reductions and continuous improvement projects.Analyze and interpret monthly financial results and underlying data to explain variances to budget, prior periods and forecast on a pro-active basisDeveloping and enhancing tools to improve financial infrastructure and organizational effectiveness. * This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee. Education:Professional accounting designation (CPA, CMA, or CPA, CGA). Qualifications:2-3 years+ accounting and analysis experience in a Manufacturing / Distribution environmentExperience with Oracle Enterprise 1 (E1), Business Intelligence or Gains Demand Planning Software an assetStrong understanding of inventory analysis / cost accounting, including bill of material, overhead application and production variancesHigh Proficiency in Excel, Pivot Tables and Database manipulation an essential requirement Strategic thinker, good communicator and exceptional problem solver.Ability to communicate financial objectives and requirements Performs function with a sense of purpose and a degree of urgencyStrong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on teamworkExcellent organizational, analytical and communication skills (oral & written)Flexibility to work overtime as required to meet tight deadlines
