Position Highlights ICBCs Customer Experience and Public Affairs division is seeking a Senior Manager Marketing & Public Relations. Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications, this role will lead the development and execution of a corporate-wide external communications strategy aligned to ICBCs brand vision. Key Responsibilities Oversee media relations, creative services, social media, and marketing communications planning teams to enhance public perception of the organization. Manage a team of managers (four direct reports). Ensure the alignment and integration between teams so that ICBC is speaking in one voice across owned, earned and paid channels. Oversee ICBCs brand governance, including standards. Oversee the relationships with brand and creative, media services, and social media agencies. Along with the Director, provide strategic advice to executives and the board on brand perception and strategy. Position Requirements An undergraduate degree in a relevant field and at least 10 years of senior-level experience working within a crown corporation, government, or complex multi-stakeholder organization. At least 5 years of experience leading a team of senior staff or managers, motivating them to ensure an engaged, high-performing team. Marketing and communications leader with proven experience in improving brand perception. Results-oriented, driven to produce high-quality, social-first campaigns and constantly measuring performance for continuous improvement. Experience directing media relations and issues management, including leading crisis communications. Established relationships with key media and government communications staff. Hybrid 8 you will work a minimum of 8 days in a 4-week period at your primary office headquarters (typically 2 days per week). The remaining days will be remote within British Columbia. This hybrid role is based in North Vancouver, with some travel for key meetings.
