Responsible for effective project leadership and construction management for the safe delivery of foundation contracts (of all sizes and complexity).Monitor project progress against budget and contract programs. Report weekly actual costs vs. agreed project budget.In discussion with others, develop and implement production improvements. Implement on all Projects effective financial monitoring procedures using the Cost Control weekly reporting sheets. Provide support to the commercial team.Responsible for the delivery of projects to the required quality, on time and on budget.Actively lead the full implementation of Bauers Health, Safety and Environmental procedures on the project(s) you are responsible for. Monitor and report on their effectiveness. Implement corrective action.Implement Quality procedures. Monitor and report on their effectiveness. Implement corrective actions as required.Be aware of all the technical requirements of the project and ensure that the quality of the constructed Works complies with the agreed Specification. Ensure technical queries are processed and resolved efficiently.Understand the risk profile of projects in your direct control. Ensure that risks are sufficiently identified, quantified and managed to minimize their impact on projects, the Business, and Client/Customer relationships.Liaise effectively and constructively with Client and Main Contractors representatives. Represent Bauer at Progress and other project meetings.Understand the contractual arrangements for each project. Seek to minimize exposure to contractual risks.Effectively manage, coach and mentor junior staff to meet project and business goals.Your education and skills: Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.5 or more years of project management is required with at least 2 years experience in the management of major projects.Must possess expertise and experience in Bauer techniques (ground improvement, piling, tie-backs, slurry walls, soil mixing and grouting).Must possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Must be fluent in English.
