Job Description

Airswift is seeking a Parts Coach to work with one of our clients in the mining industry in Kitimat, BC on a 6-month contract.The Spare Parts E2E Coach is accountable for providing project management coaching and support to the Tiger Team of cross-functional representatives that are brought together as part of the Spare Parts deployment to deliver the Spare Parts Playbook initiatives and improve site parts performance.Team Governance and LeadershipEstablish and maintain program governance frameworks, processes and standards.Ensure PMO methodologies are followed consistently and assist in developing PMO policy and procedureCommunication, Performance Reporting and Quality AssuranceProvide accurate and up-to-date program documentation, including project plans, schedules, status reports, and other related program documentation to the PG/Site Lead and PG Owner and program PMO. (inc. regular reports and dashboards).Support PG/Site Parts Lead and Owner in tracking and monitoring performance. Assist in identifying issues, risks and dependencies that may impact program delivery.Helps ensure quality of program deliverables and adherence to established standards. Performs regular audits to identify gaps or non-compliance of program plan and processes.Supports Initiative Leads with analysing, documenting and reporting on outcomesCoordination and CommunicationFacilitate or support facilitation of comms between program stakeholders. Organise and schedule program meetings, weekly deep dive 1:1s, reviews and workshops as required.Prepares agendas, collating inputs and dissemination to relevant partiesWorkstream Coaching & SupportProvide coaching and support to Workstream, Initiative leads and team members on project management methodologies, tools, deployment best practice & processes.Supports knowledge sharing sessions and identifies lessons learned and pitfalls to avoid for other workstreams.EssentialProject Management (incl. planning and resourcing) Communication (inc. excellent written and verbal comms)Stakeholder managementLeading change and teaming in cross-functional environmentAnalytical and problem-solving skillsExperience in leading and coaching multi-discipline teamsA background in supply chain including asset management, engineering, procurement, warehousing, inventoryLean qualifications or experiencesFormal Project management qualificationsTechnical proficiency or domain expertise
