As our Business Development Manager, youll spearhead sales efforts for our cutting-edge cold-formed steel (CFS) building technology across Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive growth not only for LifeTec but also for our sister companies, Westud Steel Products and Columbia National Steel Products.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Sales PlanningAssess local market conditions to identify current and prospective sales opportunities, developing accurate sales forecasts to guide strategic planning.Develop and implement aggressive sales strategies for LifeTec Construction Group, Westud Steel Products, and Columbia National Steel Products, with a focus on significantly increasing market share, customer acquisition, and establishing long-term partnerships.Lead and drive the expansion of Westud and CN Steel, identifying high-potential growth opportunities and executing strategic initiatives to scale their market presence and revenue.Spearhead the development and market launch of LifeTecs modular homes division, overseeing all aspects of strategic planning and execution from concept to introduction.Client Acquisition and ManagementQualify new business prospects and build a dynamic, high-potential customer pipeline to drive growth across all brands.Conduct inbound lead follow-ups and proactive outbound cold calls/emails to engage with potential clients and expand the customer base.Understand and analyze customer needs to deliver tailored solutions that align with their business goals, ensuring long-term satisfaction and loyalty.Maintain exceptional service levels to both existing and new customers, including timely responses to quotations, delivery inquiries, and after-sales service.Handle customer complaints with professionalism, developing strong rapport and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders to ensure client retention.Expand the distribution network and secure high-value contracts to enhance product reach and visibility for LifeTec, Westud, and CN Steel.Sales Process OptimizationCoordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless order processing and the highest level of customer service.Ensure accurate record-keeping of all client accounts using CRM software, maintaining up-to-date and comprehensive sales data.Drive continuous improvement in sales processes, ensuring sustainable growth and ongoing sales success across all divisions.Market Intelligence and ReportingProvide regular reporting to management, delivering timely, accurate insights on market trends, customer activities, and overall account performance.Identify, maximize, and close on sales and market development opportunities, ensuring consistent growth and profitability.RequirementsEssential Qualifications5+ years of sales experience in the steel or construction industryProven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targetsStrong negotiation and communication skillsProficiency in CRM software and sales analytics toolsPreferred QualificationsPost-secondary education in business administration, marketing or salesExperience with cold-formed steel products or innovative construction technologies is an assetKnowledge of the Western Canadian and Pacific Northwest construction marketsPersonal AttributesStrategic thinker with a customer-centric approachAdaptable and resilient in a fast-paced, evolving industryTeam player with the ability to work across multiple organizationsWhat We OfferOpportunity to be at the forefront of construction technology innovationCompetitive compensation package including base salary and performance bonusesProfessional development and growth opportunities in a rapidly expanding companyABOUT USLifeTec Construction Group is on the leading edge of the construction industry, using the worlds most advanced end-to-end cold-formed steel (CFS) building design and construction technology.
