ROLE OVERVIEW The Senior Manager Field Marketing & Events , reporting into the Head of Growth Marketing , is responsible for delivering lead generation programs that help drive CMiCs annual qualified pipeline growth and revenue objectives. Specifically, they plan, execute and measure campaigns, which include participating in 3rd-party conferences and trade shows, organizing CMiC-hosted educational and networking events, and coordinating other field activities that create opportunities for the BDRs and sales executives to engage with prospective customers. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DELIVERABLES Develop the annual event program and calendar, which includes conferences, trade shows, webinars and CMiC-hosted field events. Define expected outcomes by identifying key metrics and targets. Develop communication strategy to promote each event via email, social media (paid and owned), and website. Communication strategy to include tactics pre, during and post event. Booth and Content Creation: Identify, define and work with in-house graphics designer and content marketing manager to create assets to support campaigns. E.g., booth, booth signage, promotional emails, web banners and social posts. Coordinate preparation for each event via kickoff meeting with Sales and Marketing to communicate goals, communication strategy, budget, responsibilities, activation, etc. Event execution: single point of contact between CMiC and event, coordinate setup/take down of the booth, delivery of all assets, lead in-booth activation, and work with Sales at the booth to help generate sales leads. Analytics: work with Salesforce Administrator to create reports to measure the sales effectiveness of each event. Develop a ground up budget including all costs related to participating in (or hosting) events and webinars. Maintain monthly tracking of event budget to ensure we are on budget. Post event: develop a post event summary including key learnings, insights, and KPIs. Recommend changes and enhancements for the next years event/field program based on present year results achieved. Associations: source construction associations for CMiC to join to create sales leads, speaking engagements, and increase brand awareness. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS BA/BS in business, marketing, communications or related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B marketing roles focused on lead generation and pipeline growth. A minimum of 3 years running field marketing programs in a B2B environment. Working knowledge of Salesforce. Outstanding project management skills; versed in using project management tools to coordinate complex programs with multiple stakeholders, work streams, interdependencies and deliverables. Very organized, with strong attention to detail. Work well under tight deadlines; focused on high quality output. Work well as part of a tightly integrated, high-performance team; comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Proactively searches for opportunities to add structure and repeatability to help build scalable operating models for field & event marketing. Experienced working with social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook) to drive influence and engagement with potential B2B buyers. Strong analytical skills and experience with quantitative reporting. Superlative collaboration and communication skills (written and oral). Ability to travel to the United States and within Canada.
