About the Role:We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Property Manager. In this role, you will be a key team leader responsible for delivering exceptional resident customer service while assisting in the overall management of the property. This includes overseeing daily operations, financial reporting, inventory management, event coordination, and communication with residents. Our organization values innovation and entrepreneurship, making this role ideal for a candidate who is ready to take on diverse responsibilities and contribute to the continued success of our real estate ventures.At Fitzrovia, we pride ourselves on being an entrepreneurial and innovative organization, which makes this role well suited for a candidate looking to roll up their sleeves, wear multiple hats and contribute to all aspects of real estate investment and development.Key Responsibilities:Provide a 5-star living experience by delivering exceptional customer service to all prospects, residents, and guestsLead rent collection efforts, including lease termination and legal actions if requiredManage, coach, and lead the Concierge team to ensure high service standardsMonitor and maintain the accuracy of resident documents, ledgers, and filesAddress the concerns of prospective and current residents in a professional and friendly mannerSet an example for the team by modeling Fitzrovias service standards, training others to engage effectively with residentsAssist in managing the property budget, making fiscal decisions to optimize the communitys net operating incomeOversee the move-in and move-out process, including apartment inspections and community walk-throughs as neededServe as the Property Manager in their absence, ensuring continuity of operationsQualifications and Experiences:Bachelors degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Real Estate, Hospitality, Business, or a related discipline2-5 years of experience in the real estate or hospitality industrySuperior customer service skills with a commitment to excellenceStrong communication skills, both oral and written, with the confidence to interact with diverse stakeholdersProficiency in computer literacy and a willingness to learn new programs and systems; experience with Yardi software is an assetFamiliarity with budgeting processes and financial managementAbility to work some evenings and weekends as requiredCapable of thriving under pressure and meeting tight deadlinesSelf-motivated, curious, responsive, and results-driven with a proactive approach to problem-solvingWhy Fitzrovia:Fitzrovia is a vertically integrated development and asset manager focused on Class-A and vintage-style apartment buildings across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Montreal.
