We are Systematix and we are currently looking for a detail-oriented and proactive IT Service Desk Analyst to support and assist internal and external customers with our global, Canadian software client. This role is M-F/9-5 only, 100% on-site in Toronto.ABOUT THE PROJECTOur client is a global organization, with head offices in Toronto, focused on financial planning and analysis software, used by major companies worldwide, leveraging Microsoft technologies. This role is to support internal and external users of our client's products and services in an onsite capacity.ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIESIT Service Desk AnalystCreate and manage end-user, shared and external service accounts while managing access control based on company policies.Install, configure and maintain desktop and laptop PCs, printers, voice, data, audio, and video equipment; resolve trouble ticket items in ServiceNow.Collaborate with hardware and software vendors to ensure timely product delivery and installation readiness.Work with Facilities teams on office-related tasks.Coordinate with third-party vendors to repair and maintain company-owned technology assets.Maintain an inventory of installed software and hardware; manage licensing.Administer the operation of all LAN/WAN-related network services and troubleshoot network issues.Oversee LAN/WAN security, antivirus, and spam control measures.Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose process improvements within the company.Analyze system hardware and software issues; implement technical solutions and upgrades.Recommend hardware/software standardization; communicate technology solutions to senior management.ABOUT THE REQUIRED SKILLS2+ years of experience supporting IT systems in a fast-paced environment.Exceptional knowledge of IT operating systems (Windows and macOS) and experience installing hardware/software.Very strong experience supporting all Microsoft Office applications.Solid infrastructure knowledge, including networking fundamentals and TCP/IP.Strong customer-oriented communication skills with excellent time management and organizational abilities.Experience with Cloud Web services like O365 and Amazon Web Services (AWS).Familiarity with Active Directory, Okta, restricted user accounts and software deployment technologies.Ability to multitask and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.Personable; comfortable working in a team environment.APPLY NOWIf you are interested in finding out more, please contact us or submit your resume.
