Position Overview:Based at our Kidd Operations Mine Site in Timmins, ON.Reporting to the Superintendent of Human Resources, the HR Advisor will provide human resources services to the business and is involved in several areas of HR. The primary responsibilities of the successful candidate will include, but not be limited to:Implements and delivers policies, guidelines and procedures within the scope of responsibilityProvides HR guidance and support to employees, supervisors, superintendent and managementManages employee performance programs i.e., progressive disciplines, attendance management and performance improvement programsAssist with managing the company's alcohol and drug program, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and providing support and resources to employeesDevelop and implement strategies to integrate the HR vision, strategy, and priorities throughout the organization via strategic communication channelsInvestigates complaints and concerns related to workplace issues, including misconduct, harassment, discrimination, and violations of company policiesDevelops and implements employee engagement initiativesUses various software applications, such as spreadsheets, databases and customized, in-house applications, to assemble, manipulate, format reports and complete analysisAdvises on HR policies, procedures, and employment law mattersSchedule is Monday Friday, 8 hours per dayRequirements:University degree or college diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications or a related field, or a combination of relevant education and experience3 years of relevant Human Resources experience (a mining environment with unionized and non-unionized employees is an asset)Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentialityExcellent written and verbal communication skillsThe ability to research and draft company policies and procedures.Adapt to changing priorities and a high degree of accuracy/attention to detailHR certification (CHRP, CPHR) will be considered an assetKidd Operations is offering a generous retention bonus as part of our comprehensive benefits and bonus package, designed to recognize and reward the ongoing dedication and contributions of our team members.Candidates must ensure that progressive, sustainable improvements within the department are consistent with business objectives and our health, safety, environmental and community policies.Kidd Operations is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to protecting the privacy of personal information.
