Increases are then reviewed throughout employment. Please visit our website at Drafter supports the Research & Development and Engineering Teams. The position prepares technical drawings and detailed layouts for each project. They will have the skill set to read, analyze, and interpret drawings and related design documents as well as be capable of working within a 3D/parametric drawing and design environment.Essential Functions for this Role are:Update Models & drawings with as-built informationUndertake quality control processes related to existing Engineering dataMake recommendations to improve team processes and information access needsReview designs submitted by other team membersProvide clerical support such as maintaining spreadsheets and databasesWork closely with various departments including engineering, project management, supply chain and manufacturingWork in accordance with documented procedures and complete all applicable recordsExperience, Qualifications, and Skills required:Completion of grade 12, supplemented by technical courses related to the work, or an equivalent combination of training and experienceExperience preparing Solid Works Models and drawingsExperience in an Industrial Manufacturing EnvironmentIntermediate experience with current generation Microsoft Office softwareStrong mechanical aptitude and hands on design and testing skillsAble to read and interpret engineering plans and understand specificationsStrong problem solving with accuracy in a technical environmentWork efficiently in a team environment with little supervisionAble to prioritize work to meet tight deadlines in a multi-task environmentAble to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholdersThank you for your interest in Advanced Flow Systems.
