Currently in the Implementation Planning phase, the full implementation plan shall be presented to the Board of Directors for approval in June 2025 with an initial planned launch in January 2026. The two-entity structure for KHP will unlock sustainable, strategic investment for growth, opportunities to increase philanthropic and government funding, specialized boards for greater impact, asset protection, and operational efficiency.Reporting to and working closely with KHPs President and Chief Executive Officer (the President & CEO), KHPs incoming Group Head and Executive Vice President, Finance and Operations (the EVP, Finance and Operations) will serve as a member of KHPs Executive Team and is a strategic business leader with a proven track record of proactive and responsible financial and operational management as well as commitment to high standards and excellence in support services for both OpCo and the potential Foundation. With the ability to work effectively in a complex, fast-paced environment and a substantial knowledge of the Canadian national not-for-profit landscape, including the importance of regulation, reputation and financial accountability, the EVP, Finance and Operations effectively communicates a wide range of finance, operations and business matters including legal, audit, risk, investments and other key matters to the CEO as well as OpCos and potential KHP Foundations Boards of Directors. The incoming EVP, Finance and Operations will have 10-15+ years of senior strategic leadership, financial and operational management and reporting experience as a Chief Financial Officer within the private, public and/or not-for-profit sectors. This shall include extensive experience leading strategic financial and operational planning, analysis and management as well as financial compliance and regulatory reporting to a Board of Directors.
