Position OverviewOur client is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in MEMS fabrication, vapor cell design, and microfabrication processes. This full-time role will involve hands-on work in our MEMS fabrication and surface science labs, supporting the development of advanced vapor cells for Rydberg atom-based radio frequency sensors and other cutting-edge technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, fabricate, and optimize MEMS-based vapor cells for precision applications.Operate and maintain MEMS fabrication equipment, including coating systems, bonding apparatus, and diagnostic tools.Develop and implement novel bonding schemes and methods for vapor cell fabrication.Perform characterization of vapor cells, including RF field distribution, Stark shifts, and scattering cross-sections.Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, including optical and RF engineers, to improve vapor cell performance.Analyze and interpret data from diagnostic tools to refine fabrication processes.Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in the lab.QualificationsBachelors or Masters degree in Physics, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.3+ years of experience in MEMS fabrication or a related microfabrication environment.Proficiency with MEMS fabrication techniques such as etching, coating, and bonding.Familiarity with RF field measurements and vapor cell applications is a strong asset.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.Following your application Chris Green, a specialist recruiter will discuss the opportunity with you in detail.
