If youre someone who thrives in the fast-paced, dynamic world of social media and loves connecting with people through innovative content, keep reading!You will be the primary point of contact with customers on the companys social channels, and will be responsible for developing social content, scheduling posts, maintaining content calendars and staying abreast of social media trends and technologies. This is an opportunity for you to take on exciting responsibilities, build on your already strong skill set and help us achieve our goals, in a work environment that is fast-paced, dynamic and fun.Responsibilities:Develop and execute the social strategy for the HMV line of business, turning marketing initiatives into meaningful connections.Leverage data driven intelligence, social media, influencers and industry knowledge to ensure HMVs marketing strategy reaches the right customers. Translate marketing initiatives into a purposeful social media plan, building engagement and brand loyalists on key social media platforms and supporting the overall growth and loyalty of the brand and business.Foster conversations with fans, influencers and partners to build authentic relationships and amplify HMVs presence. Leverage social media tools to engage in social listening to identify and respond to conversations and trends where there is a natural tie in building brand relationshipsCollaborate with Merchandising to make recommendations for product promotions for customer acquisition and retention Work hand in hand with licensing partners to bring unique and exclusive products to market by developing targeted promotional campaignsEstablish and monitor metrics against objectives and provide competitive social media updates and insights.Provide post campaign summary report outs including key learnings and future recommendations for improvement and optimizationFacilitate and moderate conversations related to the brand across owned and earned channels, while escalating issues where appropriate.Travel, when necessary, to capture behind the scenes content to engage our audience. At key moments of the year, flexibility is required to monitor social channels outside of traditional business hoursBuild and execute strong social media campaigns for various platforms, that gain meet objectives, ensuring a strong content mix; using innovation to deliver best in class social media plans which are fresh, relevant and exciting.Create, schedule and manage engaging posts, stories and reels that resonate with our Qualifications:A genuine passion for music, movies, collectibles and all things pop culture. A creative thinker with a flair for storytelling and design. Degree in Business, Marketing, English or Communications, or New MediaPrevious marketing experience to customers who enjoy consuming products tied to pop culture and entertainment. Previous experience partnering with entertainment brandsProven work experience in social media strategy and planning, including developing and executing highly creative and effective social media and editorial content, strategies, and campaignsKnowledge of online marketing and marketing channels and interest in staying up-to-date and informed on the latest digital trendsHands-on experience with social media management for brandsStrong design aesthetic and hands-on experience creating graphics for social mediaExcellent writing and editing skills, excellent content judgment, and attention to detailResident expert in social media-tools, trends and applications, new opportunities in the social media space, Tiktok,Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Sprot SocialProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteSelf-motivated with an ability to work as part of a team, but also complete individual workAbility to multi-task, and manage multiple, competing requests with a high sense of urgency.Proven ability to manage, monitor and participate in conversations with customers, fans and enthusiasts on social channels with the ability to dynamically adjust to feedback.Possesses proven sound editorial judgement and conflict resolution skills, recognizing opportunities and knowing when/how to act upon them and recognizing no-win situations and knowing when not to engage.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and offers reasonable accommodations to job applicants with disabilities throughout the recruitment process.
