Job Description

CATALYST Production Systems Ltd. is a subsidiary of Whitewater Management and is a locally owned company focused in the Upstream Production Chemical market. With a strong focus on customer service and technical expertise, CATALYST is quickly becoming a leader as a Production Chemical provider within the Oil and Gas Industry. The Business Development Manager is responsible for developing new business opportunities and driving sales growth. The ideal candidate would be located in Grande Prairie (however this is negotiable for right candidate) and would work closely with local Management in NW AB and NE BC as well as Corporate Sales to grow the existing market and ideally open up new areas of opportunity. Responsibilities Identify new business growth opportunities through market analysis and networking Implementing sales plans across the Northwest Alberta and Northern BC region Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure their needs are met and expectations exceeded Preparation and/or involvement with new business opportunities and commercial proposals Work closely with Account Managers to support client needs Assist with development of Account Managers Drive the development of short and long range sales goals Qualifications Technical diploma or degree, such as Petroleum Engineer Tech, preferred Four years of experience in upstream chemicals production preferred Relevant industry experience an asset Proven experience in business development, demonstrating a track record of successfully identifying and pursuing new opportunities Have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills and the ability to influence others Ability to negotiate effectively while balancing client needs with company goals Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with clients at all levels Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
